English Teacher (with the possibility of a TLR for Media Responsibility)

We are seeking an outstanding classroom teacher with the ability to inspire, engage, and enthuse students. There is the possibility of the addition of a TLR for Media Studies for interested and qualified candidates.
At our school, GCSE English Language and Literature are delivered through the Edexcel specification. English is a highly popular subject at A Level, where we offer both English Literature and English Language, following the OCR specification. Our students consistently achieve excellent results in GCSE English Language/Literature and strong outcomes at A Level in both English Language and English Literature. We offer Media Studies at A Level following Eduqas and our students achieve excellent results.

Mathematics Mentor
Do you want to work with bright, committed and well-behaved students? We are seeking to recruit a Mathematics Mentor who will support teachers with removing barriers to learning in Mathematics GCSE (ages 11-16), with a specific focus on Yr 11 Pupil Premium (PP) students in Mathematics and also support Sixth Form students who need to resit GCSE Mathematics.
We are looking for someone who is able to provide direction to students; individually, in small groups and in classes and can work proactively with class teachers. The successful candidate will have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a keen interest in helping students achieve their best. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and must have GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) and ideally have experience of working in a school environment.

Office Administrator
14 hours per week – Thursday & Friday (8.30am - 4.15pm) with 30 mins unpaid break
39 weeks per year (term time plus one week)
Salary G3 £24,027 - £25,183 (£8,076 - £8,464 pro rata)
Boston High School is seeking to appoint an efficient, organised, hardworking and motivated member of staff to provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school, to work in the main office of our school.
General duties will include answering phone calls, filing, and working as part of a team to ensure the office responsibilities are achieved, including monitoring attendance, school emails and communication with parents, students and staff.
The ideal candidate would be confident with using IT, have administration experience and ideally experience of working in a school and knowledge of SIMS previously.
