Revision
Please find below, information on how to revise, and how metacognition (how we learn) can be used to help students learn and revise effectively, based on scientific research as to proven effective techniques.
We have employed an external provider, Dragonfly, for the two videos (that can be used for GCSE and A level revision), who have also worked with BHS staff last year on staff training sessions on these metacognition strategies, which your child will be benefiting from in lessons.

Also, there are two revision booklets below detailing explicit steps and ways that can help learning by effective revision. Please watch and trial these, over the course of the year, especially in readiness for your mocks in January.
Our teachers will also be using these revision strategies in their delivery in lessons and in the run up to the mocks and later in the year their actual exams. I hope you find this useful.
